Installation of additional time clocks to eliminate unnecessary after hours lighting
Use of battery operated security shuttle vs. gas or electric carts
Retail tenants are eliminating plastic shopping bags
Installation of white reflective roofs on entire mall
Use of green cleaning products throughout the mall
Exit lighting changed to LED
EcoGro - Recently, the Lake at Lexington Green was given a face lift. This was done in an effort to Go Green! The Mall at Lexington Green was presented a 2008 Environmental Award by the Mayor for this renovation. Read more...
2008 Christmas Tree was a "Live" (balled and burlapped) Norway Spruce that was planted behind the Mall after Christmas.
